The Newsletter Committee shall:
1. Publish and distribute the newsletter bimonthly. The issues are
Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun, Jul/Aug, Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec. The
newsletter should be mailed to the membership by the 15 th day of
the alternative months (Feb, Apr, etc).
2. Solicit contributions from officers, committee chairmen,
affiliated chapter liaisons and others as required to obtain
sufficient information for the newsletter. The contributions
deadline is determined by administrative services and distributed to
the board of directors).
3. Submit a budget estimate to the Society Treasurer three months
prior to the beginning of the fiscal year. The budget should include
all projected expenses related to paper, printing and postage.
4. Ensure that, in addition to the membership, newsletter are mailed
to the lobbyist (if applicable), Deans of Schools of Pharmacy in
Missouri, ASHP Student Liaisons, and all departments of pharmacy in
the state.
5. Coordinate typing, proofreading, printing and distribution of the
newsletter in conjunction with the Administrative Services
representative. .Ensure posting of the newsletter on the society
website.
