Clinical Skills Competition
Winners
at the ASHP Midyear!
MSHP R&D Foundation provides a grant for each
Missouri student competing in the ASHP Clinical Skills Competition
to be used towards the attendance at the Midyear.

Erica Russell and Emily Dotson, from St. Louis School of Pharmacy,

Erica Russell is from Jerseyville, IL where she
works at Jersey Community Hospital (a small community hospital).
After graduation she plans on completing a pharmacy practice
residency.
Emily Dotson is from Harrisburg, IL where she
has worked in community pharmacy at The Medicine Shoppe. After
graduation, she plans to complete a pharmacy practice residency
which has an element of academia.

Joseph Woolery and Eric Wombwell, from University of Missouri-Kansas
City College of Pharmacy, pose with Amy Sipe. The UMKC students were
in the top10 in the Clinical Skills Competition!
Joseph Woolery plans to complete a PGY1
residency program after he graduates and then specialize in
Hematology/Oncology by completing a PGY2. Joseph would like to
become a clinical pharmacist specializing in Hematology/Oncology at
a hospital where he will be respected as an integral part of the
health care team.
Eric Wombwell, MSHP member, is keeping an open
mind as he continues to explore possible career choices. However,
the avenue Eric intends on following is one that will allow him the
opportunity to work and interact with
patients.
